TAKING CARE OF YOUR WASTEWATER SYSTEM

A properly designed and installed onsite wastewater treatment system does a terrific job of decomposing household waste and recycling precious water resources.  As with any engineered system, such as your car, your onsite wastewater system will work better and last longer if it is regularly maintained and you know what can and cannot go into it. 

Read through the "do’s and don’ts" in the Homeowners Manual and spend some time with other members of your household so they also understand.   With a little preventative maintenance together with periodic inspections, your onsite wastewater system should function for decades - not to mention the water and energy savings.  Keep it in the safe place you retain all your important information about your home.
